Italy is the country where an invalid receives a distress year (on average € 350 per month) and you may not do a regular job (on pain of suspension of invalidity pension).
But it is also the country where there are MPs who do not fit, creating specific laws for their "CASTA" oligarchy, disguised as democracy. In fact, on several occasions the Parliament has been practically a nation unto itself in the legislative field.
The figure is well established for some time: the lavish compensation and payroll until the latest scandal "Unmarried couples", which saw a similar law already in force in all respects, but only valid for MPs. Each parliamentary

This question I found a few days ago browsing on yahoo answer.
I think it is shameful that in Italy a first world country and EU member politicians come to earn € 10 000, while many workers are struggling to make ends meet.
In my opinion we must standardize the salaries of politicians to 2 000 € and deprive them of all privileges that have (see "The numbers of Italy"). We must also reduce their Penzion 1 500 € per month.
With the money you save, you could increase the salaries and aid to citizens.
